Celebrate International Women’s Day with ATTD!
At ATTD, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in the field of diabetes. This International Women’s Day, we are excited to launch a special educational initiative to highlight the contributions of women professionals in diabetes care and research.
As part of this initiative, we will be showcasing interviews with these inspiring women professionals, providing insights into their journeys, experiences, and contributions to the diabetes community. Stay tuned as we share these interviews, coming soon on our platform.
In addition to celebrating the achievements of women in diabetes care, we are pleased to highlight our accredited online courses focusing on women’s health and diabetes management. Our courses include:
CGM and Pregnancy: This course explores the advantages and limitations of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) in pregnancy. Learners will gain insights into the central role of maternal glucose in the pathogenesis of Large for Gestational Age (LGA) from very early gestation, understand the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes risk factors in diabetic pregnancies, and learn about key reversible risk factors for stillbirth in diabetic pregnancies.
Pregnancy and Technology: This course equips learners with comprehensive knowledge and skills related to managing diabetes during pregnancy using advanced technology. Upon completing this course, learners should be able to understand the advantages and limitations of CGM in pregnancy, be aware of the central role of maternal glucose in the pathogenesis of LGA from very early gestation, understand the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes risk factors in diabetic pregnancies, and know the key reversible risk factors for stillbirth in diabetic pregnancies.
