Dr. Rodolfo J. Galindo
MD, FACE, Associate Professor of Medicine, Miller School of Medicine at University of Miami
Dr. Rodolfo J. Galindo graduated from the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Havana in 2005. Dr. Galindo completed his Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and North Shore University Hospital, in New York. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Galindo joined the faculty, as an Assistant Professor, of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was the Director of the Inpatient Diabetes Service. His clinical and research areas of interest included management of diabetes, obesity and CKD, using diabetes technology. His research program is supported by the NIH, NIDDK, foundations and industry. Dr. Galindo had over 120 publications peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters.
Dr. Amit Gupta

Dr. Amit Gupta is a dedicated professional focused on advancing diabetes care and management. With fellowships from the Royal Colleges of Physicians in Glasgow and Edinburgh, the American College of Physicians, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Dr. Gupta is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. As a clinician, researcher, and diabetes advocate, he actively contributes to several global advisory boards and committees, including the American Diabetes Association, the IDF South East Asia Regional Council, the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), Diabetes India, Diabetes Technology Trust of India (Dtech), and the American College of Physicians India Chapter.
Prof. Concetta Irace
Professor, Università degli Studi Magna Graecia, Italy
Prof. Concetta Irace has pursued an illustrious career in medicine, focusing on vascular diseases and metabolic disorders. She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples Federico II in 1989 and earned a Ph.D. in Pathology and Clinical Management of Vascular Diseases in 1997. Her academic journey continued with a specialization in Internal Medicine, completed with distinction at the University of Magna Græcia in Catanzaro in 2000. She has played a pivotal role in academic leadership, coordinating degree programs and serving as a member of research and academic councils. Additionally, she has contributed to the education of future medical professionals by teaching courses in diagnostic techniques, ophthalmology, and physiology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Medha Munshi
Director of the Joslin Geriatric Diabetes Program and an Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
Medha Munshi, MD, is the Director of the Joslin Geriatric Diabetes Program and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is also a staff geriatrician at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston. Dr. Munshi is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Endocrinology and Metabolism. Since joining the faculty, Dr. Munshi has developed a unique Geriatric Diabetes Program at the Joslin Diabetes Center. This model of care is an interdisciplinary program, beyond the traditional diabetes programs, that considers clinical, functional, and psychosocial barriers faced by older adults before formulating individualized treatment strategies.

Professor Raffaella Buzzetti is a Professor of Endocrinology at Sapienza University of Rome and has been leading the Diabetes Department at Policlinico Umberto I Hospital in Rome, where she provides integrated care with a constant delivery of diabetes and metabolic diseases services. She is a board member of the National Committee of Italian Ministry of University. Professor Buzzetti’s major clinical and research interests are the genetic susceptibility of type 1 diabetes, pathogenesis and clinical features of type I diabetes and adult-onset autoimmune diabetes, leading clinical trials for phase II and phase III studies. She is the author and co-author of 285 articles, 78 in the last 3 years; in peer-reviewed journals (H. I. Scopus 53); she is a board member of DMRR and President Elected of the Italian Society of Diabetes.
