I am an academic endocrinologist at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. I am also the Section Head of Endocrinology at our county hospital, Harborview Medical Center, where we care for underprivileged and under-insured patients. My work focuses on clinical care of patients with diabetes, lipid disorders and metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease. My research includes clinical trials in patients with diabetes and obesity. I am passionate about using my clinical skills and acumen in advancing clinical research.

Eda Cengiz
Prof. of Pediatrics, MD, University of California, San Francisco
Dr. Cengiz is a world-renowned scholar, who has received numerous distinguished awards from premier academic institutions, including the Rosalind Franklin Society Special Award in Science, the Yale Clinical Center for Investigation Scholar Award, the Brown University W. Alpert Medical School Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Yale School of Medicine Mae Gailani, MD, Faculty Teaching Award. She has been the institutional Principal Investigator of various diabetes-related clinical trials and has been awarded numerous research grants to conduct investigator-initiated studies. She has developed novel evidence-based guidelines for diabetes management and has served as keynote speaker for multiple scientific conferences domestically and abroad.

I’m Nouran Yousef Salah, Associate Professor of Pediatric Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Ain shams university, Egypt. I’m a member of the ATTD Early Career Education Committee. I have 45 international publications in the field of Pediatric Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism published in highly indexed journals, and I’m a member of the advisory board of Diabetes therapy. I’ve reviewed over 100 diabetes and obesity manuscripts for international journals. My primary point of research is disseminating technology for early detection of glycemic derangements and treatment of diabetes and obesity in developing countries.
