Dr. Denice Feig, Head of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and University Health Network

Dr. Feig is a renowned expert in the field of diabetes and pregnancy. She is the head of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and University Health Network, and a professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Medicine. With a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology, Dr. Feig is cross appointed to both the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. She chairs the American Diabetes Association Pregnancy Planning Committee and has numerous grants and publications in diabetes and pregnancy.

Amy Dunlop

Amy Dunlop, RN, BN, MSc, CDE

Amy Dunlop is a Registered Nurse with bachelor’s degrees in nursing and chemistry and a master’s degree in chemistry. Living with type 1 diabetes, Amy has a passion for helping others living with diabetes and a desire to contribute to research advances. She has volunteered as a mentor for children living with diabetes through Riding on Insulin and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
