Associate Professor of Medicine, Miller School of Medicine at University of Miami
Dr. Rodolfo J. Galindo is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, Director of the UHealth Comprehensive Diabetes Center, and Director of Diabetes Management for Jackson Health System. He trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology in New York and has held academic leadership roles at Mount Sinai and Emory University, with a focus on clinical research in diabetes and obesity.

Dr. Julia Mader
Associate Professor at University of Graz
Julia Mader is Associate Professor at Medical University of Graz and Deputy Head of the Diabetes Outpatient Clinic. She graduated at Medical University of Graz where she also trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She was Visiting Professor at the University Hospital of Bern, Switzerland (2016-2017). She leads the Diabetes Technology Research Unit at Medical University of Graz. Her research focuses on diabetes technology (insulin pumps, CGM, AID, and decision support systems). She has published over 170 peer-reviewed scientific papers. She has received several national and international awards. She is executive board member of the EASD and chairs EASD’s Training and Education Committee.
Dr. Sanjay Kalra
Endocrinologist, educator and researcher, International Society of Endocrinology (ISE)
Dr. Sanjay Kalra, DM (AIIMS) works at Bharti Hospital, Karnal in India. President elect of the ESI (2018/19), and Vice-President of South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies SAFES), he remains busy in clinical care, patient education, research and medical writing. He serves as Education Editor of the International Society of Endocrinology, and works to improve endocrine education across the world. Executive Editor of the Indian Journal Endocrinology Metabolism (IJEM); from 2011 to 2015, he is also Section Editor, Diabetes, of the Endocrine Society of India (ESI) Manual of Clinical Endocrinology (1st and 2nd editions) and Section Editor, Endocrinology, of the Association of Physicians of India (API) Textbook of Medicine, 11th edition. He won the global DAWN Award for best translational research in diabetes in 2009. In his spare time, he finds time to indulge in his favorite hobby, the folk dance bhangra.

Medha Munshi, MD, is the Director of the Joslin Geriatric Diabetes Program and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is also a staff geriatrician at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston. Dr. Munshi is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Endocrinology and Metabolism. Since joining the faculty, Dr. Munshi has developed a unique Geriatric Diabetes Program at the Joslin Diabetes Center. This model of care is an interdisciplinary program, beyond the traditional diabetes programs, that considers clinical, functional, and psychosocial barriers faced by older adults before formulating individualized treatment strategies.
