Learn a Practical, Step-by-Step Approach to Febrile Children
Fever is one of the most common reasons children are brought to healthcare services. In many cases, it is caused by mild viral infections. But sometimes fever can signal serious bacterial infections (SBI) that may lead to severe complications if not identified early.
Join our upcoming Step-by-Step webinar on 24 March to learn how to confidently assess and manage febrile children using a structured, evidence-based approach.
During this interactive session, leading experts Prof. Christèle Gras-Le Guen and Dr. Simon Nadel will guide participants through real clinical scenarios, helping healthcare professionals distinguish low-risk situations from cases requiring urgent investigation and treatment.
What You Will Learn
By attending this webinar, participants will learn how to:
- Identify low-risk febrile children and reduce unnecessary testing
- Recognise warning signs of serious bacterial infection (SBI)
- Use modern diagnostic tools to support clinical decisions
- Reduce inappropriate antibiotic use in paediatric care
- Engage parents in monitoring and managing fever at home
